Fordham University - B.A, Visual Arts, Spanish Language and Literature
I am a sophomore at the Lincoln Center Campus at Fordham University. I major in both Spanish language and literature and visual arts, while concentrating in architecture. Fordham has an extreme core course of study to ensure a student is well versed in an array of courses such as philosophy, theology, math, globalism, American pluralism, natural science, physical Science, and foreign languages. My aim is to attend Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation to take architecture and urban design. I am fluent in Spanish and speak French casually, though Spanish is my first choice to tutor, since I delight in the Spanish language. While tutoring, including with Spanish, it turns out to be a learning experience because I learn from teaching, more than I would in class. Knowing Spanish has given me the freedom to associate with various types of people. In my free time, I go to Central Park to go skateboarding. I like visiting museums, especially The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I love the experience of discovering the New York City food scene with all its variety. In the past, I had competed riding horses, and I still try to ride whenever I can when I can take time away from school.
