Education

BFA in Musical Theatre with studies in choreography from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA 2010. Honor roll high school diploma from Freedom High School in Bethlehem, PA 2006. I've continued my dance and choreography training upon graduating from college by performing in shows in Philadelphia, PA, north NJ, and NYC. I also still take private voice lessons and dance lessons in the city myself to constantly learn more to teach my students.

Experience

Teaching private voice, piano, drama, and dance lessons through Bergen Performing Arts School, and privately for 5 years. Graduated high school with high honors, National Honor Society, took AP Exams for English (4), Economics (3), and Calculus. Was exempt from English final examinations senior year because I received straight A's all 4 marking periods. Finished 25 in my class out of 520 students. Graduated college with high honors, was exempt from Science course because I took Human Anatomy at community college during high school. I love to help people through my knowledge and experience. I see too many students prepping for college who don't realize what exactly they're suppose to prepare. I feel like I have a lot to offer and I am always willing to help them achieve their goals.

Hobbies

I'm a professionally trained dancer, singer, actress, and choreographer from Rutherford. I've worked with the Rockettes in NYC. I choreograph musicals in NJ and NYC, as well as perform. I've taught at Bergen Performing Arts center for several years. I love to paint and draw as well! I love writing and was always the person my friends turned to to edit their papers in high school and college. They've joked and called me the Grammar Police! I used to take creative writing courses when I was younger because I loved creating something from my imagination. My essays for college are definitely a big reason why I was accepted, and I love to be able to help students write their college essays. I'm a very active person. I love working out and doing active things, however, I can certainly just hang out and Netflix binge! I love to help my students not just in the subject I'm tutoring them in, but in all aspects of their lives. I want my students to feel confident about themselves in their medium. I'm very fun and personable, and always try to find new and specific ways to help students. All of my lessons are very personalized to each student. I think it's important that my students feel like they have my undivided attention during our sessions, and that I've assigned them things that would be specific to them.
